The hood body and insert are different choices

The finished Signature hood creates the visible shape above the range. The insert provides the ventilation equipment. Select the hood style, width, height and finish, then choose ducted or recirculating ventilation and an available insert. The estimate includes a selected insert; equipment left undecided remains additional.

Ducted or recirculating?

The right approach depends on the appliance, the equipment’s instructions and your home. Ducted equipment requires a suitable exhaust route. Recirculating equipment needs compatible filtration and return-air openings. Our choices are filtered by hood width and ventilation type; they are still subject to final cutout, liner and installation review.

What the calculator includes

A selected hood body, insert and the required matching recirculation kit are included in the planning range. Ductwork, return-air modifications, installation and any separate liners or adapters are additional. Confirm the full installed scope with your designer and installer.

Review before ordering

Bring the range model, ceiling height and any existing duct information. Ask ATG to review the insert’s installation instructions, hood opening, clearances and local installation requirements. The preview does not certify the installation, and a warning-free sketch is not a substitute for that review.
